Lovense Hush 2 XS Tested - Small Plug, Powerful Vibes

Three years ago I reviewed the original Lovense Hush on Safe Lust. Now I’ve finally tested the new Hush 2 XS – let’s see how it stacks up 😈.
Introduction
Unboxing the Lovense Hush 2 XS
The Hush 2 is one of the most popular interactive Bluetooth anal plugs. It's compatible with the feature-packed Lovense Remote app: sharing vibration patterns, interactive gaming, long-distance play, playing with strangers or even remote group orgies 😏. It's the most complete interactive sex toy app we've got so far.
In the box, you'll find:

At first sight, the shape looks much more modern and exciting than the previous version, and the silicone used feels velvety soft while the plug itself is firm.
Size & Battery
I bought the Hush 2 in the new XS size. For longer periods of wear or public play, a smaller size that I'm comfortable with makes things easier, but it all depends on what goal you have in mind.
The Hush 2 also comes in very large sizes if want to stretch yourself – up to 2.25"/ 5.7cm diameter 😉.
It comes in 4 sizes. The larger plugs come with more battery life:
- 1" / 2.5cm - 2 hours battery
- 1.5" / 3.8cm - 4 hours battery
- 1.75" / 4.44cm - 8 hours battery
- 2.25" / 5.7cm - 11+ hours battery
How it feels
With some lube, you can feel the plug pushing through your sphincter, making its way in. With its firm texture, you cannot miss its strong, stretching feeling!
Sharp tip
Inserting it, I noticed the tip feels sharp on my Hush 2 XS. It's not a complete dealbreaker, but a more rounded tip would have been much more comfortable. You don't want to poke your insides, right? Nevertheless, it still works out fine with careful insertion.
I wonder if going a size up would have a more rounded tip – I'll have to figure that out since I purchased the Hush 2 Small as well but didn't receive it yet!
Plug Length & Positions
The length of the Hush 2 XS is just perfect. Deep enough to provide great stimulation, but not too deep as to be uncomfortable in some positions. Bending over, kneeling down, and sitting on a chair while wearing it is all very comfortable. Exactly what we need for a long-time wear/remote/public play plug 😈.
The base feels comfy and secure, so you know it won't slide in or out accidentally.
The Shape
I've seen some reviews criticize the XS plug for having a short neck and a long body. I honestly love the shape of this plug!
The long body means it sort of looks and feels like a dildo. In my tests, I've enjoyed using it not only as a plug, but also by thrusting it in and out. I can vouch, that can make for a great orgasm 😈.
As for the short neck, the ratio feels secure and ideal to me, but your mileage may vary, as everybody is different.
The Vibrations: Mind. Blown. 🤯
Just. Wow. Like, I expected the Hush 2 XS to be good, but my prostate was blown away. Although the plug doesn't have the shape to really reach my prostate, once it turned on, the vibrations were so strong that they resonated through and actually delivered prostate stimulation 🤯. My prostate was being forcefully shaken. And this was already the case at 80% intensity level!
Deep and rumbly 😍
The 100% vibration intensity is definitely overwhelmingly strong and takes some getting used to. Very nice, deep and rumbly 😍, exactly what we're looking for! It's a high-quality vibe they've used for this plug. While some anal plugs like the Deep Diver are more affordable and feel great, their vibrations cannot be compared to the Lovense Hush 2.
Safe Lust
This has to be the best vibrations I've gotten from an anal plug. Sure, some plugs like the Trio or Rimming Petite are special, but the vibrator used inside those plugs just don't deliver such a deep, strong, lovely rumbly feel.

The Lovense Remote allows you to connect to strangers, allowing you to control each other's sex toys in a private chat room – this is tons of fun and I 100% recommend it!
What about orgies? They're basically "sex toy control chat rooms" with multiple people controlling each others' toys 😈. It's a bit hidden, you can find this under App Gallery -> Link Hub, or on the home screen: Control Link.
From the control link you can create a public link that allows multiple anonymous online users to control your toy 🔥.
Remote Play
For long-distance sex, you can give a link to your partner to control your toy. Instead of a public link like the Remote Orgies, you'd make it a private control link.
Community Vibration Patterns

Noise Level
Once inserted, the Hush 2 XS is very quiet, more than I expected! I'm pleasantly surprised, given the power this thing has!
It's suitable for discreet play, outdoors and more. You can lower the vibration power limits to make sure you never go over the noise level you can accept.
Measuring right next to Hush 2 with ambient room levels of 40dB, you can see its results below.
High vibrations: 65dB
This is a solid and discreet result 😎! Especially taking into account the rumbliness of the Hush 2. Buzzy toys might have a similar decibel output but 'feel' noisier due to the higher-pitched sound which is more obvious.
Shout-out to Lovense for actually making a discreet plug! The first version of the Hush felt much more noisy.

As for the size, you'll have to see which diameter you are comfortable with. Since the vibrations are very strong and discreet, I recommend not going too large so you can keep it for long-time wear or public play 🤫.
If you're searching for more types of stimulation apart from vibrations, let's say, thumping, thrusting or expansion? Then other plugs may be a better fit.

Apart from its sharp tip and longer battery, the Hush 2 XS is the most complete interactive wearable anal plug you can get. Its strong, deep, rumbly vibrations and interactivity are very hard to beat 🔥. It's a clear recommendation. The only question will be, which size will you get?
