It comes with a great hygiene seal thanks to the plastic covering the entire toy. I want to highlight just how small the ghost is, it's the smallest masturbator I've reviewed so far!
Once opened up, you'll have to remove the sticker all around the toy, to discover a plastic case holding the Ghost. It's literally so tiny! It's the tiniest masturbator-in-case that I own so far, and I'm loving this concept.

Shape
The ghost comes in 3 colors: Black, Mint and Blue. I went with blue.
Ridges or nubs? Which one do you choose? 😈
It is reversible and has two textures. One side has waves, while the other side has a sort of ribbed texture. It's better to stick to one texture during playtime; otherwise, you'll get the lubed-up surface right onto your hand.
I would have loved seeing Arcwave make the different colors have different textures, instead of repeating the same textures on the different colors. That means I don't have a reason to purchase other colors if I already have one of them.
Material and Texture
Silicone is famous for being non-porous, and much easier to clean than TPE – widely used in male masturbators like Fleshlights and FeelStars. TPE is a porous material meaning you can't fully clean it 100%.
With good care, TPE is still considered safe to use for male masturbators, however, silicone is a top-notch material in terms of hygiene and much easier to recommend!
The reason most male masturbators are made of TPE is that it feels much more skin-like than the more rigid silicone counterpart. However, I could easily prefer silicone masturbators for the reason of hygiene.
How It Feels
Surprisingly, the material didn't 100% feel like silicone to me. It felt slightly stickier and softer. I'm not sure how Arcwave has gotten a silicone toy to be this soft. Given its reputation, I do believe it truly is silicone. Come to think about it, some Tantus toys also have a very smooth surface and those are also 100% silicone.
Add a pinch of lube and it's ready to go for a ride 😎. I recommend squeezing it to get the lube well-distributed 💧. The first entry can feel a bit awkward as there is no real orifice to penetrate, but you get used to it quickly. Once you're in though, the ribs make for great sensations. It stretches enough to accommodate most sizes without any issues.
Trapped air
Since there is no hole in the sleeve, air gets trapped during play. I like to squeeze out the air before penetration, it allows me to get deeper while also having a good amount of suction 👍.
Choosing a texture
You'll want to choose which texture to play with before the start of your session. Flipping it inside out while the lube is inside to try out the other texture is just too messy 😜.

The best feature is.. the ghost acts as a way to catch any body fluids and lube during use 😀! It's easy to use it in a clean and discreet manner. After you're done, just flip it inside out and rinse with warm water and mild soap. No mess with tissues sticking to your body parts anymore!

It comes with 2 textures: ridged or nubbed. Ridges are more delicate and subtle, while nubs are making sure you're feeling it! With ridges I tend to squeeze the sleeve around the tip for more sensation on the frenulum. All in all I prefer the nubbed side but it is up to you to choose.
Better than other options?
The ghost feels good! Does it feel better than just using a hand 🤔? Yes, it makes for variety and I am excited whenever I get to use it, it's fun, more fun and better sensations than not using any toy at all.
Is it better than a realistic Fleshlight? In terms of sensations, a Fleshlight will easily win. However, if you think about this toy being ultra-portable, affordable, discreet and enabling easy cleanup? That's where the ghost wins 🎖️.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Cleaning couldn't be easier, no tissues involved 😳. Arcwave could technically start a #SaveTheTrees movement with this! As you orgasm, the Ghost is easily able to catch everything, ready for cleanup 😍.
As for cleanup? I thought the Tenga 3D couldn't get easier, but I was wrong. Take some soap, rub it with some water, reverse it, and do the same. Now dry it with a towel, put it back in the box and you're done! Literally one of the fastest cleanups for male masturbators considering its smaller size. Okay, maybe the Manta is still slightly faster if you really time it to the second 😉.
It's non-porous, so you can be 100% confident that your toy is truly clean, and that's a great feeling — there's no need to apply any kind of renewal powder!

The Ghost is available for around 15 USD / 15 EUR, which is very reasonable considering its beautiful storage case and its long lifespan.
Most masturbators at this price range are not re-usable.
Summary
At this price point it's harder to justify why you don't have a ghost than to get one. It's small, discreet, quiet, affordable, makes for easy cleanup and comes with 2 textures.
As long as you don't expect the top-of-the-line, super immersive and realistic sensations, the ghost is a great down-to-earth and very hygienic masturbator.
