Unboxing

The Lovense Gush 2 Motion comes with a luxurious unboxing experience like all Lovense toys. Surprisingly, once I got the Gush 2 Motion out, I visually couldn't tell any difference between it and the previous Gush 2. It's all about what's inside 🔥.

• 2 bands to hold the Gush 2 motion in place hands-free
• A usb charging cable
• Manual

I would've liked seeing a storage pouch as well.

What is it? Motion!

The Gush 2 Motion keeps all of the epic features of the Gush 2, stimulating using oscillation conveniently placed near the frenulum. Next to its usual features, it introduces a gyroscope. This means, it can now sense motion.

The new motion sensing can be used to control other toys. Okaaay... Are you thinking what I'm thinking? With some creativity, you could even use it as a self-fucking device 😳. I mean.. that's the first thing that came into my mind, and the first thing I impatiently tested it for 😆. Don't tell me you didn't think about it 😈. Let me know in the comments!

And oh did that do the trick! Every time I stroked, my anal plug was giving me pleasurable vibrations, reminding me of what's going on! That's something I will definitely come back to play with. I didn't just stop at the Hush 2 XS, I also had to give it a try with the Hush 2 S and Edge 2 😆. I had the most fun with the Edge 2, for that prostate squeeze, but I also enjoyed the stretch of the Hush 2 S.

It does translate your motions to an intensity, so don't expect to feel the exact motions, but you can really feel that as you ramp up, the plug is also ramping up. In terms of accuracy it feels well-made. Super fun! I imagine using this with a sex machine, nipple clamps, or an actual thrusting toy, it would be even more better 🔥. Or with the Ridge?

The Gush 2 Motion is a very logical upgrade for the Gush 2. Lovense is known for having amazing app and remote interactivity. Most of their toys can be used to control each other, while this was still missing for the Gush 2. Now the Gush 2 Motion really feels like the complete package with full interactivity ✨.

This packs a punch because it means it can be connected with many of the other Lovense toys, think the Lovense Nora vibrator, Hush anal plugs, or Domi 2.

How it feels

Just like the Gush 2, the oscillation feels tantalizing on the frenulum 🔥. It's at the exact right spot. It provides a much more targeted and intense stimulation than typical vibrations. I talk more about that in my Gush 2 review , however in short, the oscillations are super pleasurable and top notch for this type of hand-held penis vibrator.

What I particularly love about the oscillations is they're much quieter than the typical vibrations. The Gush 2 and Gush 2 Motion are both much more discreet than the Gush 1. The Gush 1 felt much more buzzy, while the Gush 2 gives off a deep rumble.

The shape where the oscillator is located would be more comfortable to be sideways so you can keep it in your underwear with it hugging your body shape tightly. This is probably a technical limitation though.

Latest Lovense App Features

The Lovense Remote app features are sure to keep you entertained – and there are some new features recently! Here are some of my highlights in short:

• Control Roulette: still one of my favorite features, match with a random stranger (filtered on gender and other options), and control each others' toys. It is sometimes tricky to find a match, but patience is worth it as it is incredibly fun to control a stranger's toys online. Optionally you can chat with your match while controlling their toys.
  
  The best part? Thanks to the motion sensing you don't have to manually control the other person's toys anymore. You can control them via the motion sensing in the Gush 2 Motion, so you can focus on the action.
• AI Companion: chat with an AI persona and let it take control of your toys. This works incredibly well. Depending on what you are chatting about, it will control your toy with different patterns. A great activity to do while waiting for a match on Control Roulette in the background!
  
  As it sometimes can take some time to find a match, I've ended up really enjoying this. The excitement about waiting what kind of patterns it will play and its unpredictability is great long-lasting fun.
• Patterns marketplace: share and find the best patterns. Some patterns are intricate and can last up to 1 hour. You can also make playlists of patterns.

There's many more features and even games, but the above ones deserve an extra highlight.

Gush 1 vs. Gush 2 Motion

It's a world of difference between the Gush 1 and Gush 2 😎. The oscillation is so much more enjoyable than the vibration of the Gush 1. If you still have the Gush 1, it's worth the upgrade. Just know that the Gush 2 is bigger than the Gush 1. In practice it's not an issue.

Gush 2 vs. Gush 2 Motion

If you have the Gush 2, you already have the oscillation. Visually it looks exactly the same and you wouldn't be able to tell apart which is which. Upgrading to the Gush 2 Motion is still worth it if you're interested in the motion controls.

That means you can control other toys using the motion of the Gush 2. Whether it's your toys, a stranger's toys or your long-distance partner's toys, that will all work great.

In terms of motion controls, the strokes and motions seem to be translated into an intensity, which is then used for controlling the other toys' vibrations. It is more about the movement than your current stroke position – and this makes sense as there are multiple ways to play with the Gush.

I am however curious how the Gush 2 motion would translate the movements to a thrusting toy such as the sex machine.

I also noticed the Gush 2 Motion to be slightly more rumbly and discreet in terms of noise. While that's great, this by itself wouldn't be a good reason to upgrade from the Gush 2. If you are seeking for the Motion sensing though, don't hesitate and just go for it!

Noise Level Test

It's the same oscillations, but with added gyro for motion sensing, so I didn't expect any difference in noise levels. I was surprised to see I was wrong!

Let's first see what the previous version, the Gush 2 brought in terms of noise level. Measuring right next to Gush 2 with ambient room levels of 30dB, here are the results:

Worth nothing, the Gush 2 feels much quieter than the old Gush 1, and this is not just a small difference. The Gush 2 is a huge upgrade and is much more rumbly than buzzy, compared the old Gush 1.

As for the newer Gush 2 Motion:

And it's even better than just looking at the decibels 🔥. The Gush 2 feels slightly more buzzy, while the Gush 2 motion feels slightly more rumbly. It's a subtle difference but it feels more pleasant in use. Possibly due to the way components are arranged inside?

It's difficult to have foolproof 100% accurate noise level measurements, so take this into account, but during my test, the newer Gush 2 Motion audibly feels smoother.

Pros and Cons
