Introduction
As usual with Lovense, it is shipped in a discreet grey box without any references to Lovense.
There's a plastic seal around the box as a hygiene seal – as long as you buy it from Lovense, you can be sure it hasn't been used yet. In the box, you'll find:
- The Mission 2 dildo itself
- The suction cup (silicone)
- Rotating dildo holder - to set the right angle
- Storage bag - although it only fits the actual dildo, not the suction cup and accessories
- Instructions manual, charging cable

Here is the size of the Mission 2 according to my own measurements:
Diameter middle part: 1.45"/3.7cm
Diameter at deepest point: 1.53"/3.9cm - if you are able to take full length in
Max insertable length: 5.5"/14cm
The tip of the Mission 2 is squishy, while the rest of the toy is solid silicone with a squish only when pressed hard.
This seems like the perfect size for vaginal play. For anal play, combined with the rigid materials, you'll want to be comfortable with similar-sized toys to enjoy it fully, as you need to be able to thrust it smoothly for really taking advantage of the touch sensitivity.

Note – I tried the Mission 2 as an anal toy, drawing from my personal experience as a male user. However, my review is relevant for any gender ✨.

The Solace Pro has much more accurate thrusting action than the Max 2, while the Mission 2 has very accurate touch-sensitivity – according to Lovense more accurate than the Nora.
You'll see in the below video the thrusts on the Solace Pro are incredibly accurate as to what happens with the Mission 2. I couldn't get both the Mission 2 and the Solace Pro in the shot, so you'll have to imagine a bit what is happening here 😉.
How the Solace Pro reacts to touch-sensitivity on the Mission 2. I test its accuracy from very slow, precise movements to fast strokes.
This makes the long-distance sex much more realistic than it could ever be with the Max 2 + Nora, and a worthy upgrade if realistic online sex is your goal. From what you've seen in my Solace Pro review – even for solo play, the Solace Pro is an amazing upgrade from the Max 2 for many reasons.

With my tests I noticed a slight delay, less than 1 second, between the actions from the Mission 2 to reflect on the Solace Pro – which seems intentional to keep things smooth and very acceptable.

Noise Level
Measuring right next to the Mission 2 with ambient room levels of 30dB, here are the results:
Medium vibrations: 70dB
High vibrations: 75dB
The vibrations on the Mission 2 have a moderate volume, which might not be suitable for completely discreet use. While they're not extremely loud, they can still be heard in a quiet room. If you live with others or prefer a more subtle experience, you may want to consider using it when noise levels around you are higher.
You can always set the max vibration strength in the app – which can even be set per insertion depth – to keep things quiet and more discreet 😉.
