Following the manual, it takes less than 5 minutes to get it ready the first time. The next time, you can easily get it all set up in under a minute. I'm delighted that the desk mount is well-padded with foam, meaning my desk won't get scratched from *uhum..* heavy duty, *machinery* work 😉. I guess that could be my new job title as a sex toy reviewer! Can you use the [Solace Pro](https://out.safelust.com/lovense/solace-pro?ref=safelust.com) for a fully hands-free experience? Yes! In fact that's the best way you can enjoy it. The Solace Pro was built for a hands-free experience. I didn't have to touch or hold anything during my sessions, I just let the Solace Pro do its thing while I was enjoying videos that it synced with. ### Lovense AI Sync – Sync to Videos Using the [Vibemate](https://out.safelust.com/lovense/vibemate?ref=safelust.com) app, you can sync the [Solace Pro](https://out.safelust.com/lovense/solace-pro?ref=safelust.com) to a large list of porn sites – out of the box, free of charge. Vibemate works on mobile phone or PC. 💡 It does mention a basic/extended plan for AI support, but the basic one that supports most popular porn sites is obviously free, while the extended is free but might not stay free in the future? The AI Sync feature is still in beta-phase, and sometimes does come with quirks. In general it works well, and some scenes can be incredibly immersive and realistic. Those moments truly take my breathe away. Having those moments of full immersion while watching your favorite actresses from a popular porn site is a feeling that cannot be described and you'll need to experience for yourself. However, some other scenes, the AI gets too sensitive, or gets triggered due to some other objects moving in the scene. Considering it's a free AI video sync, and it works out of the box, I am still very impressed. It's able to keep me entertained, sometimes even too much that I can't handle it! In general, it is well-balanced but do expect quirks here and there. 💡 One thing to keep in mind is that the sync seems to only work with full-depth thrusts. I'm not sure if I did anything wrong on my end, or if this is to be expected, but I will get in touch with Lovense to clarify this part. It already feels great with full-depth thrusts, but with the precision the Solace Pro brings, having a dynamic range of accurate thrust depth according to the video's contents would be amazing. Potentially it could be a limitation of the AI model? Imagine those fast half-thrusts following the video's contents, that would be crazy! I've personally tried Wild Life and Breeders of the Nephelym with the [Max 2](https://out.safelust.com/lovense/max-2?ref=safelust.com) – both which were awesome, free and recommended. Be careful though, in Breeders of the Nephelym, the sex demons will do anything they can to milk you dry 🤭. ℹ️ Since it's a new release I haven't been able to try the Solace Pro on interactive games just yet, combined with my PC acting up – once I do, I will update the text here in this post! I don't have a [Nora](https://out.safelust.com/lovense/nora?ref=safelust.com) to test this out, but so far this is my understanding 😊. ### Other ways to play The Lovense Remote app allows you to: - Sync to music - Sync to the sound picked up by your phone microphone – with full stroke depth only at this moment - Use control roulette to control a stranger's toys - Share a link to anybody to control your toy # Noise Level With my first measurement, with the sound meter right next to the Solace Pro + the [Lovense Solace Pro](https://out.safelust.com/lovense/solace-pro?ref=safelust.com) mounted on my desk: - Low-Med: 64dB - Medium 70dB - High: 77dB with short peaks to 80dB I realized my desk was resonating some of the noise - so depending on your desktop material your results may vary. Hand-held, my results ended up 3-5dB lower. Also note, the noise level fluctuates a lot as it is a stroker. There is a noise while the toy is being dragged and a bumping noise once it reaches either the top or the bottom end of the toy. My partner was able to hear the noise from outside the room, but take into account I wasn't playing any music to cover it, and the sound isolation here isn't great. Fear not though, after one use, it got so much better and wasn't too tight anymore! This is a sleeve that needs a few uses before you can truly enjoy it. That being said, it is still a little tighter than I would've preferred, but it's not to the point that it really bothers me. I can fully enjoy the Solace Pro now. You will have a similar experience if you are well-endowed. ### More sleeves?! There's so much potential in the [Solace Pro](https://out.safelust.com/lovense/solace-pro?ref=safelust.com)! Since it's new, I don't think people realize it yet! The case of the Solace Pro sleeve is detachable, meaning.. what if Lovense could make more cases in the future, possible with new features, shapes, suction-features, sizes or other? And thinking even further, if you have a 3D printer, you could even create your own Solace Pro compatible case to use with masturbation sleeves from other brands! How awesome would that be? We need some 3D printer enthusiasts to create some 3D printing files for us! *Or hmmm.. if a company could sponsor a 3D printer to Safe Lust so I could setup some 3D assets 😆? I wouldn't be able to wait and share them with you all 😄.* 💡 Sex Toys that are extensible by the community are the best! And if that doesn't happen? I hope Lovense would get creative and design even more sleeves to choose from, making a real eco-system around the Solace Pro. There are so many opportunities here 😊. ### Sleeve shape Texture-wise, the [Solace Pro](https://out.safelust.com/lovense/solace-pro?ref=safelust.com) sleeve is a big step up from the [Lovense Max sleeves](https://out.safelust.com/lovense/max-2?ref=safelust.com). It has so much more detail – and they really succeeded at that, it's a great feeling sleeve that you will enjoy. I was surprised to see the sleeve is only open-ended on one side. This gives for a nice and strong suction which I do enjoy. However, for cleaning, it can be tricky to dry the inside. While some people suggest to flip it inside out, that could damage the sleeve and I'm not risking any of that. I recommend you pick up an inexpensive masturbator drying stick, these work well at drying sleeves. Since it's closed-ended I do recommend one or even two drying sticks. Be careful not to leave them in for too long as it could affect the orifice shape. Do [Fleshlight sleeves](https://out.safelust.com/fleshlight-girls?ref=safelust.com) work with the Solace Pro? Unfortunately no, the Fleshlight sleeves are much wider and wouldn't be able to fit in the Solace Pro case. However, with some engineering and 3d-printing, I'm sure a fellow sex toy enthusiast would be able to come up with a solution! At this point though? Not yet. ### Kiiro sleeves for Solace Pro? Do [Kiiroo FeelStars sleeves](https://out.safelust.com/kiiroo/feelstars?ref=safelust.com) work with the Solace Pro? Well, sometimes! The [FeelStars](https://out.safelust.com/kiiroo/feelstars?ref=safelust.com) sleeves are just that much smaller to be able to fit into the Solace Pro case. I had a ride [FeelReya](https://safelust.com/kiiroo-feelreya-reya-sunshine-masturbator-review/) on the Solace Pro and it went very well! No risk of it sliding too far, or ejecting at all. What does happen though, is that since the case of the Lovense is slightly tighter, the sleeve might feel too tight for you. That's why I chose a sleeve like the FeelReya for my test ride, which has an open orifice. With tight orifices, it might not work as well. So in conclusion, your mileage may vary, it can work for some! Ideally, a fellow sex toy enthusiast 3D-prints a compatible case mount for the Solace Pro – that would bring the best of both worlds. Apart from that, the precise position control on the Solace Pro allows for more realistic use, either from the Lovense Remote app, and the AI Sync. Whether PC/VR-video scripts work with the Solace Pro is something I still need to figure out and come back on! If I really want to nitpick? I would've enjoyed having even more depth instead of the current max stroke depth of 3.11” / 79mm. Then again, that would probably require the toy to be more bulky, and less portable, which would bring other downsides! With its weight-distribution being mostly in the silver part of the toy, it's a toy that works very well when desk-mounted, hands-free. Use with hands also works well, although the shape might not be as convenient as some of the alternatives. Use mild soap and warm water on both the case and sleeve, and towel-dry the outside. As mentioned above, I recommend using a drying stick or two to get it fully dry since the sleeve is not open-ended. Let it air-dry with the drying stick inserted overnight. # Should you get it?
